Who We Are

Mustard Seed Autism Trust was set up in September 2011 by Francis Bland and Sarah Clements. They have worked for 15 years supporting children with special needs within their local church. Mustard Seed Autism Trust is an extension of this work born from a vision to provide a professional service in the community to families living with autism.

Francis is a children's Occupational Therapist who has experience of working with children with motor co-ordination, sensory difficulties and autism.

Sarah is a qualified teacher and worked for 8 years at Freemantles School in Surrey for children with autism. Her various roles at Freemantles included PECS Implementer, Early Years Co-ordinator and Outreach Teacher.

We have a team of trained voluntary support workers who assist families with implementing programmes.

We also have a team of trained volunteers who support the day-day running of the charity.

All staff are DBS checked and have completed our training programme.
